Id rate this game higher if it broke down public matches and segregated them by player level. The game simply isnt fun if youre beginning or at a lower level with weak powerups, trying to avoid much higher level players with the strongest powerups. It also wont matter how good your skill is when the servers are lagged to death.
Besides the above flaws, the main reason this game soon becomes more frustration than fun is due to most of its players being idiots. Most players will play every team-based variation as if theyre playing in "Free For All" mode, so if youre playing "Capture the Flag" or "Territory War", you absolutely cannot count on or expect your random teammates to be productive because theyll be busy trying to collect as much mass as possible and wont be doing much else. "Free For All" itself is nearly unplayable unless you show up at a time when very few players are on, or are at a high level with strong powerups; otherwise youll be hopelessly wasting your time as youre repeatedly eaten by players a hundred times bigger.
Most of this can be corrected by adding categorized play, at least for "Free For All". The problem of idiots ruining the team-based variants of the game is pretty much unsolvable as idiocy is merely the human condition.
